Is CAST better than nothing?

Hi there,

So I've just got offered a CAST position - which at first sounds like a good thing... That is unless you're on an AST reserve list lik I am.

What happened was that following my interview they informed me that they chose someone else but that there is this other option called a contract agent.

I've read up on the details since (1-year period renewed no more than 6 times, lower payroll, internal competitions limited to SC positions etc.). I get that it's more convenient for the institutions.

Hi everyone,

Regarding Graduate Administrators, for computer tests there is a range of dates.

Can it be negative to test the last few days? Or is it indifferent?

Two reserve lists

Hello,

I can't find the information online, so I'm asking here in case somebody knows the answer. I am in two reserve lists, one is for administrators, and the other one, for secretaries. If I am hired as a secretary, and then offered a position as as administrator, would I be able to change positions, or do I have to remain in the first one for some time? And, if that is the case, for how long? Does anybody know? Thanks in advance!

Level of difficulty of AD packages compared to CAST packages

Hi,

last year I bought the CAST package for political affairs. I have not used all questions. So, I am thinking about using them to prepare for the AD competition, unless the AD packages you offer are of higher level of difficulty compared to the CAST ones. In this case, I would directly buy a AD package.
