AD5 Graduate Administrator: two nationalities - which one should I apply with?

Hello everybody,

I know this question has already been asked in the past. Still, I would like to know your opinion since I am not 100% sure about how to proceed.

I would like to apply for the AD5 Graduate Administrator competition. During the 1st step, I have to provide my nationality. Since I am both French and German, I am not sure which one I should take, whether there is a difference in terms of quotas and which one would be more likely to succeed. What would you do?

Thank you very much for you advice!!

Dear All,

Does anyone know why epso is delaying to publish the final results of the candidates admitted in reserve list? We are waiting since 25th October 2018!

Thank you in advance.

Best regards

AD5 Professional activity supporting documents

Hi all,

According to the AD5 Notice of Competition, along the selection procedure we will need to provide EPSO with a series of supporting documents for our professional activity:

a) "documents from former and current employer(s) stating the nature and level of duties performed, and start and end dates, with the official header and stamp of the company, and the name and signature of the person in charge; or

b) employment contract(s) and first and last pay slips, with a detailed description of the duties performed;"

Written test for the Administrative Assistant position in ENISA

I have submitted my application for the Administrative Assistant position in ENISA. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to undergo a written test. Could you please inform me how this written test will be look like and if possible what those questions might be? Thank you.

General questions about working for the EU (proofreaders)

Hello all,

I am considering applying for EU jobs, but I am still gathering information and know very little about EPSO. Apologies if my questions sound ridiculous. In particular:

1) I thought that EU civil servants had to pass an exam about the history and functioning of the EU. However, I cannot find this mentioned on the EPSO website. Am I missing something, or has this test been removed?

2) I read that the EU recruits proofreaders. Are proofreaders only stationed in Brussels and Luxembourg, or also in other cities?

Thank you for your help,

Field-related test - EPSO /AST/147/19 Security assistants

Hello,

I cannot find any related information about this computer-based test. How it looks like? Wasn't it called situational judgment before? Moreover, is E-tray not followed throughout his competition process, as I haven't found it in the information?

Please advise if you have any related tests or information where this can be found.

Thanks,

Duration interview in the field

Hello everyone,

Does anyone know how long does the interview in the field last?

I cannot find this information anywhere. I read that the questions would roughly be the same as the ones in the talent screener.

Thanks!

CAST vs. Temporary

Hello,

Can anyone, please, explain the difference between CAST jobs and Temporary ones?

Under which circumstances should one apply for one or another?

Best,

Cris

The long wait - linguist laureate

Hi all,

So, I've been on an AD reserve list for more than eight months now and so far things have been highly uneventful. I knew beforehand that being on a reserve list is no guarantee to land an actual job. I also knew that the wait might be long. Yet reading some of the comments on this forum I get the impression that most laureates have the opportunity to apply for positions on a relatively regular basis and are invited to interviews from time to time. Just wondering if that impression is correct?
