Anyone knows more about this type of expression of interest call: COM/4/2019/AD?

Hello everyone,

I have spotted this expression of interest call for Cabinet staff - policy officers and members of cabinets. With the new EC coming into place soon, this is quite interesting.

We can apply by using the EU CV online system - but do you have experience having used this system and what are the next steps if selected? It seems to me that the post is an AD one for EoI call.

Claire, do you also think that, in order to apply for this one, one needs to have already passed the concour? Cause it is an AD5 vacancy, isn't it?

I don't think so from what I can see, I have seen advertisements for other Ad5 positions without having to pass a concour. I think the difference is that if you pass a concour you have a permanent job, if you get an Ad5 post another way it is just temporary. This is my impression at least.
