Just had E-tray!

Hello everybody,

I did the day defore yesterday the e-tray for auditors and would like to share my experience with you.

Before starting, a little disclaimer: I am just talking about what I found, nothing implies that the same findings are valid for other e-trays (esp. the AD generalist).

First, e-mails were 18 (and not 21) and scenarios too.  So since I had practised with Arboreus format with 21 e-mails and questions, I had some time more, could go back to e-mails a couple of times and take very short notes.

Does anybody knows more informationa about the  "Field-specific test (Drafting of a note relating to the duties in question)" ?

It looks new to me; usually there was onlythe case study.

I am thinking about applying for the FGIV CAST political affairs/EU policies pool. However, I find it very difficult to obtain any information on what a job in that category would concretely be about. Does anyone know which concrete jobs have been offered to candidates in this pool?

hello,

I will pass the assessment center in October but I need to practice Excel and Word. Not very good on it...do you know some good website to practice or even a private teacher who knows about the EU competitions ? I'm in Belgrade for the moment (but I'm belgian) and I can also move to Brussels or even better Budapest.

I got invited to the Specific competency test, otherwise listed as written test in the filed for the Research Programme Administrator position (REA/TA/AD6/01/18). 

I am somewhat confused what this test will be and how to best prepare for it. Is it a the case study? Something else?

EU Training AC in Spanish

Good morning!

I would like to know if EU Training has seminars and classrooms in Spanish related to the AC phase. I took the CBT tests in English and I passed the first phase, and now the E-tray and the AC will therefore be in Spanish, which is my mother tongue. it would be so nice if someone could help me out. I have no problems studying in English, but for sure doing the simulation of the interview, group exercise, study case and the oral presentation in Spanish would be way more useful.

I would like to ask if anyone has already gone through AC tests before and wants to share the experience how it is organised? How much time we have for:

1. e-tray and how many questions?

2. IT competence test and how many questions?

3. drafting and what kind of topics are usualy suggested - how much we should present?

4.interview - any suggestions for preparation for it?
