Congratulations to those candidates who have excelled in the pre-selection exams and have been invited to the E-tray component of the competition!
Last Friday, the results of the computer-based admission tests were published on each candidate’s EPSO account. 1,355 candidates have been invited to participate in the E-tray exercise of the competition. The minimum score needed to be attained to progress to this intermediate level of the competition was 50.
With the E-tray exercises taking place next month, on the 14th, 15th and 16th of September, in the test centres of the 28 Member States, it is now time to get serious about E-tray exercise preparation and study!

In the lead up to this exciting phase of the competition, Online EU Training is currently holding regular Live EPSO E-Tray Methodology Webinars that explain in detail the competencies measured, cover the positive and negative indicators for each competency, provide strategies for finding the correct solution, offer insights into how the e-tray is scored and explores the best strategies for maximising efficiency. Presented by Online EU Training’s Senior Occupational Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience in psychometric tool design; find out first-hand what to expect from the process.

Once candidates have a good grasp of what to look out for and a clear understanding of the methodology, it is time to practice, practice, practice and to put those newly acquired insights to the test!
Online EU Training’s Full Practice E-Tray Tests have been designed to mimic those encountered at the EPSO exams and measure the exact same competencies. The tests available on our site are divided into two categories: e-tray practice tests for AD roles and those for AST roles. These practice tests mainly differ in the ‘scenarios’(the fictional tasks) they assign to the candidate, NOT the process, so if a candidate completes all of our practice AD e-tray exams and feels they still need more practice, the AST tests are a prefect substitution to keep on preparing!
PLEASE NOTE: The results from the E-tray exercise will be carried over to the Assessment Centre phase of the competition and will count towards the final score, so it is vital to attain a high total mark in this exam! Make sure you are fully prepared for this stage of the completion as now is not the time to get complacent.
Online EU Training offers a wealth of practice materials for all stages and levels of the EU institutions’ selection exams, as well as FREE E-books, webinars and e-learning materials to help EPSO candidates excel. If at any point you have a question or need additional help to understand the EPSO processes, please do not hesitate to contact us.
