The European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) has just released their EPSO/AD/302/15 Notice of Competition, calling for all Administrators in the field of Audit to apply. A reserve list of 80 places has been advertised.
The deadline for registration is 28 April 2015, giving applicants just over one month to apply.
There have been some rather big changes this year to the Administrator Competition, which has also been applied to the Audit Competition.
Key changes to the Competition that you need to know about:
The scoring system for the Pre-Selection exam has changed.
- Your results in the Verbal Reasoning and Numerical Reasoning tests will NOT be taken into account in the calculation of your total Pre-Selection mark, but you will still need to attain a minimum pass mark of 50% in these tests to qualify for the next stage of the competition.
- The two tests that WILL be taken into consideration when calculating your total Pre-Selection mark will be the Abstract Reasoning and Situational Judgement tests.
- The number of questions, time limits and pass marks for some tests have been adjusted.
The number of selection stages has increased from TWO to THREE.
- An “Intermediate Test” stage has been added in after the Pre-Selection stage and before the Assessment Centre stage of the AD Competition. Those who attain the highest score in the Abstract Reasoning and Situational Judgement tests (via the Pre-Selection stage) will move on to the Intermediate Test stage, which comprises of an e-tray exercise.
