The biggest EU recruitment exam of 2012 just announced: EPSO competition for Administrators (AD5 & AD7 level) to fill in 296 posts. Application opens on 15 March.

Any citizen from the EU's 27 Member States can apply. The starting net salary of an AD5 official is +/- 4200 EUR; for AD7 it is around 5000 EUR plus benefits. APPLICATION OPENS: 15 March 2012 APPLICATION DEADLINE: 17 April 2012 noon (Brussels Time) |
There are 5 profiles to choose from - AD5 or AD7 level:
- European Public Administration (AD5: 76 places, AD7: 38 places)
- Law (AD5: 51 places, AD7: 13 places)
- External Relations (AD5: 26 places, AD7: 7 places)
- Audit (AD5: 38 places, AD7: 5 places)
- Communication (AD5: 28 places, AD7: 14 places)
Relevant studies are required for Audit, Law and Communication, but any diploma is acceptable for EPA and External relations.
The exam includes 2 main phases:
- passing a pre-selection test of abstract reasoning, verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning and Situational Judgment Test (SJT)
- followed by an Assessment Centre later in the autumn.
The shortlisted candidates are placed on a reserve list from which any EU institution can recruit them.
